The Two Catalysts Of Change

Is there something you have been wanting to change for a while but have not been to do?

You are going to learn today how to start making that change you have been longing for.

The reality is change is simple if you understand the process and adhere to it!

Today, we’ll be talking about the two catalysts of change.

 that when well understood will allows you to maximize your performance and make necessary changes in your life and business when you need to.

There are two catalysts of change -Love and Fear.

Love is integrative, it is unifying to a purpose, to growth, and there’s Fear which is differentiative.

In human performance, it’s codified by moving away and moving toward.

In productivity lens, it is the worst thing and best thing in regard to your goals.

 

Moving away is like electricity energy and moving toward is like magnetic energic.

Newton's first law of motion, also known as the law of inertia, states that an object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force. This means that an object will not change its state of motion unless there is a cause, such as a net external force.

The tendency of an object to resist changes in its state of motion is called inertia.

Human beings are not different in our behaviors.

Think about something you have been experiencing that you don’t want to experience anymore.

What is the worst thing that could happen if it’s not resolved?

What is the best thing that could happen when it’s resolved?

Let’s ground this in an example!

For example, a burned-out business owner that started her business with passion and drive, but now, she’s feeling disconnected from that initial sense of purpose.

1-What is the worst thing that could happen if it’s not resolved?

Losing the business, negative budgetary impact, alter negative personal relationship.

What aspects of my business feels like a burden?

Where am I getting lost in the day-to-day grind?

Why do I believe so? External circumstances or internal circumstances

Identify the limiting factors- in what circle of proximity does it belong to?

There are three circles of proximity.

Proximity of control-something you can affect directly and personally.

Proximity of influence-That circle is something you can only influence but you cannot control.

Proximity outside of your control or influence- e.g., Weather- You cannot control.

 So now you need to Unearth the limiting belief.

Asking yourself the magic question: Is it true?

You are challenging your assumptions-è Unearth the limiting belief.

Take your power back -agency-

You need to generate the electricity and that is done by Moving away from the worst thing- which is anchored in survival and fear.

What is one action or one step I can take to move away from this impasse?

For example - Where am I getting lost in the day-to-day grind?

Is It scheduling? What could you do?

Could you partner with someone that like planning?

Could you invest in Productivity tools?

 That action is the ignition- the spark

An object at rest stays at rest unless acted upon.

What you are doing, you are moving away from the negative pattern by interrupting the pattern of that negative spiral cycle you had been going through.

By doing that you are changing the energy flow direction, which is the power of the electric energy- it’s very direct- and forceful. It has that masculine energy attribute. It has to be disruptive.

That is the first step, electric energy starts the motion, which is rooted in survival and fear-

That energy is short term and cannot last or it’s too expensive to maintain but to have some sustainability you need magnetic energy.

Which is love, it pulls, it’s attractive-

Staying with the same example of a burn out business owner or executive

What aspects of my business still bring me joy?

Take your power back this time by-Moving toward-

You are changing the direction of your attention.

It’s important to make that switch because where your attention goes, your focus follows, what you focus on expand, where your attention goes, energy flows.

What are 2 or 3 actions, steps You can take to get closer to the ideal goal you want.

So, when you think about your burn out business owner.

What aspects of your business still bring you joy?

Is it meeting clients for example?

Do more of that!

In that way you are generating activities that will sustain the life of your business and most importantly your energy is revitalized and amplified.

At that point what you have done, in doing both you have activated the electromagnetic field to get yourself out of the rut you had been in.

In that way you are finding back an energetic equilibrium, by keeping the 1/3 and 2/3 ratio.

One-third electric energy- moving away, moving from- the worst thing that could happen.

Two-thirds magnetic energetic- moving toward the ideal situation.

That’s important that you understand- these energies are complementary- one is not better than the other, they have their purpose for different situations.

Fear sparks faster action, or reaction because it is anchored in survival, but love sustains because it is anchored in purpose in unity.

So next time when you find yourself in a ruminating negative pattern, think about the two catalysts of change!

How can you generate electromagnetic energy in your life, in your business so that you can achieve the change you long and desire.
