Deep within you, is that spark waiting to be ignited. It's a whisper of courage, a yearning for greatness. This is the Olympic spirit, waiting to be unleashed.

The reason the whole globe is inspired by the Olympics is because everyone can see their reflections in the games and throughout the athletes, and because that spirit dwell in all of us, not in some of us but in all of us.

Today, we will be talking about How To “Ignite The Olympic Spirit Within.”

First, we will discuss about The Spark Within,

Second, we’ll discuss Overcoming Obstacles

Third, I will share The Power of Teamwork and The Joy of Participation

Fourth, we will talk about the finale of all this which is about Inspiring Generations

Ready lets jump in- The reason we all are all captivated by the Olympics is because everyone can see their own latent greatness reflections the athletes performance and excellence, and because that spirit dwell in all of us, not in some of us but in all of us.

The Olympics spark being ignited within is not about medals or records. It's about pushing your limits, discovering your potential, and celebrating your journey. It’s about Igniting the inner flame.

So Discovering that ultimate athlete within you is all about learning the limits and the power of your humanity! And that’s the ultimate goal of breaking the records-

Citius, Altius Fortius- Faster, Higher Stronger. It’s very humbling unlike the common observer would think- because as you learn about your superpower, you also at the same time learn about your limitations! And that is what true power is all about! That transformation and wisdom you gain through experience and by pushing your limits!

 Second, Overcoming Obstacles  is all about Resilience and perseverance.

The path to greatness is never smooth. There will be setbacks, failures, and doubts. But it's how you respond to these challenges that defines us.

The Olympic spirit is not about avoiding challenges, but overcoming them. It's about finding the strength to rise again, stronger than before.

Citius, Altius, Fortius

Your biggest opponent is yourself.

In your moments of doubts, will you succumb to “ I am not good enough” “Who Am I to be here in this room?
Can I make it ? will I make it?

As you ask yourself with those moments of doubt, you summon your courage to push through because you can dwell  into that human spirit!

 Third, The Power of Teamwork is all about Unity and collaboration. 

In the pursuit of excellence, we are stronger together. The Olympic spirit is built on teamwork, camaraderie, and mutual support.

It's not just about individual achievements, but collective triumphs. By lifting each other up, you can reach heights you never thought possible.

Even for the athletes that have individual performance, it’s important to understand that you are never alone. You don’t get gold by yourself. Whether it’s your spouse, your parents, your coaches… and that point is valid even in corporate or in business even if you are individual contributor.

I want to emphasize this- because the myth of the self-made  has been misleading a lot of people including myself when I was younger. You didn’t give birth to yourself.

 Together, we are unstoppable. Together we rise., so When you look about The Joy of Participation you can see The spirit of competition and fun

The Olympic spirit is not just for elite athletes. It's for everyone who loves the thrill of competition, the joy of movement, and the satisfaction of personal best.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a casual participant, the important thing is to embrace the spirit of the game and enjoy the experience.

Find your passion, play your game... 

Finally, it’s all about Inspiring Generations, which is all about Legacy and the future

The Olympic spirit is a torch passed from one generation to the next. It's about inspiring others to reach for their dreams and make a positive impact on the world.

And to me there’s something powerful that had huge impact almost twenty years ago-

Steve Jobs Commencement speech-“No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. 

That’s why I love the Olympics, every 4 years our collective humanity is being reminded  that

By embodying the values of fair play, respect, and excellence, we create a better future for ourselves and generations to come.
