Activate Your Power Shift
Apr 08, 2025Ever catch yourself spiraling in self-doubt, blaming others, or just... stuck in inaction? That was me too. Until I discovered a framework shift that changed everything. It’s called The Power Shift
Today, we’re going to talk about a framework that allows people "take their power back" from being reactive, victim or passive to proactive, empowered, and constructive. I called it the Reclaim Code or the Power Shift.
So, in The first part, we are going to see why we stay in a plateau and stalled position, and second, I’ll share with you the “power shift” a 3-step framework to reclaim your power and third I’ll show you an example so you can see it how it applies and how you can do it as well. Let’s dive in.
So, first Let’s just face it:
It’s so easy and so tempting to be sitting in the passenger seat of your circumstances and events. Sometimes without realizing it because it’s the easiest thing to do.
What do I mean?
Well simply, we all fall into reactive patterns — blaming, withdrawing, waiting for someone else to change first. It’s easy to feel like life is happening to us.
But here's the truth: at times, passivity feels safe... but it’s silently stealing your power. You’re not powerless — you’re just stuck in an old frame.
Regardless of whether you’ve been wrong or not, if you keep blaming or pointing fingers at someone, you are giving away your power.
So, the greatest of all time, and the high performers they know how to turn it around in three simple steps. And I call it the “power shift framework.”
First Step is to catch yourself-
Raise your awareness so that you can break the auto-pilot mode you’ve been stuck- To help simply ask: “What story am I telling myself right now? “basically
Catch that frame you are in
Second step- The Reclaim Pivot.
This is the doorway to change which is all about ownership.
This isn’t about blame. It’s pivoting and asking yourself.
“How am I contributing to this.”
For example, instead of saying “why am I passive?
Ask yourself how am I contributing to being passive, why and how do I make myself passive?
Third Step- Take a Proactive step.
It doesn’t have to be moving mountains, basically the shift can start with micro-movements — even a breath, a boundary, or a decision.
What’s one next step I can take to move forward and closer to my goals?
Let’s give a simple example that you can relate with, when I was in corporate in some “environments,” I felt like I didn’t have a voice.
I used to avoid tough conversations like the plague. I’d say: ‘They never listen anyway.’ That was victim mode.
One day, I paused and asked: ‘How am I making myself voiceless here?’ Boom — power shift.
I scheduled the conversation. I showed up clearly and calmly. That moment? Game changer.”
I hope you can clearly see now that The Power Shift isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present — and owning your part with courage and compassion.
